god its obvious sony ain't got a clue the lyrics for the second verse are:

Where does this wrong lyrics came from? The CD's booklet got the RIGHT lyrics (like mentioned before). Not this one posted here.
since the song is a remake MJ wrote additional lyrics but some people didnt seem to notice...
HISTORY LESSON:
Yellow Magic Orchestra composed the original and hit contained NO lyrics other than the robot voice. Michael bought the rights to use the song during the making of Thriller. He wrote THESE LYRICS (ABOVE) but never recorded it. His longtime Keyboardist Greg Phillinganes recorded the song for his own solo career a few years later. Eric Clapton followed shortly thereafter. THESE ARE THEEEEE LYRICS. They have been THE lyrics for about 30 years now. The lyrics from 'Michael' are something either recorded at an early session of a live performance. Listen to the lyrics of the early recording of 'Billie Jean' on the Thriller Special Edition and you'll understand.
